<A href=’http://www.rediff.com: The’>www.rediff.com: The</A> layout of this site is probably the best I have seen till date specially the homepage. It is as neat as a doctor’s table that is the good point about the site. There is also the advantage of the latest news on the homepage. Visibility is so so so great.
 
Another very good feature on rediff.com is the automatic addition to the address book of addresses of all receipients of mails from the mail account. This feature is not there even in yahoo.com . A very convenient feature this of rediff.com. Lately the beautiful green background on the homepage is simply superb.

But since the last three months there have been huge problem accessing the site from here in Lucknow . I do not know whether it is that way in other places also so much so that i had to relegate it to secondary mail account and subscribe to yahoo for my primary mail. That is too bad.
 
Another very irritating feature is the huge banner adds that overflow over the homepage texts and even interferes with filling forms. Now that is hugely irritating and if I may be forgiven for saying that -’’cheap’’.

This is not the way to generate revenues.
I hope the guys out there would take note of that
But all in all a great site.
