On 6th January 2013 I attended a free introductory seminar conducted by Ravi Ramanathan's public speaking and was impressed with their classes and enrolled for the public speaking. The classes are supposed to start the same day post lunch session. As luck would have it I couldn't attend that session and they told that they will take the session separately for me.
Post that I moved to a different city on official work for two months and I conveyed to them that I may not be able to continue with the classes but they still insisted that I can take the classes whenever I want.
Due to financial constraints, I placed a request for the refund of the fees but I was informed that it it not their policy. There were a few email communications between me and the institute and I lost all hopes of getting the money back. Finally I decided to approach any consumer forum.
Few weeks later I got a mail from Mr. Ravi Ramanathan, asking me to come and collect the cheque and explained me that they will give the credit for the fees paid even after two or three years but not give refund. I realized my mistake and thanked them for being so gracious.
It was not just about the refund but I was overwhelmed by the way they treated me that day. I totally misjudged them by their tone but in fact, they were so humble and kind to me.
My sincere apologies for misjudging them and would like to take back my comments.
