Rd350-reall boss of all power performance bikes. Review on Rajdoot Yamaha RD350

Writing about rd350 is like writing sumthing which needs a great sense of care with playing with words. Really this bike is an unforgetfull product in indian biking history......

Believe it or not rajdoot guys were always ahead of their times...in 1973 wen rishi kapoor eloped on rajdoot gtx bike this mini bike got a status of craze among lovers throughout the country....so wen in 1980's people had decided to tie up with yamaha & bring out their performance best seller rd350 in india as rajdoot 350 in 1983....

Yet this bike received a lukewarm responce from indian bikers due to its prolifegrate usage of petrol

This limitation of this bike overshadowed all its virtues whether it was worldclass thrilling experiance, 30plus bhp or first time tachometer in indian bike, central locking, capacity to cover a quarter mile in 14 seconds......

Actually at that time indian peoples were not mature enough to try this unique blue performer..as its promos to were saying for few who dare to live their dreams...really those few were very opt & true at their time as now they can really be proud of their right decision...that we find a lotzz of rd in country...allthough parts availability z a debatable issue....

Yet the experiance provided by rd is a real exotic n lifetime stunning experiance...i had tried rd 350 only once in my life & that to just for 15-20 minutes....

Yet the interest I got in this bike was a real life time inclination for this bike

Once u start the bike n put ur hands u sudden of all feel d surge to touch 100 as soon ..even 100 kmph 2 ll not end ur apetite for high speed.....

As sounds start crushing u ll feel the surge to be ahead of others n @ the same time u ll see that u r second to none.

If u drive this bike once only u ll find none near to ur satisfaction level...such z d attraction of this bike...even rx100 willl seem a toy 2 very arden fan of rx100 or pulsars...

The rd dd not have disc brakes yet were having 180 mm drum one which none one had used except in rajdoot 350 n rajdoot 175...efficient can be drum brakes even @ high speed...i realised only after my this drive.

It had months passed off since I had rode this bike...yet I can nt forget the experience of it.

Even its smoke willl give u a nostalgic feeling...n sound...so tuned rhyme :)

I wish I can got a new rd350. Even if I get a second hand rd350. Had ever you thought that a bike in second hand marketis selling at highly speculated prices even as its parts r rare. Yes, rd is that bike which is in great demand in second hand market...its prices starts from 60000-90000, depending on its condition

Its so sad that the bikers in india had reallized its value after its demice in 1991.....

Indian market which since then had not seen such a blue performer

We indians were confined & habitual of just 150plus cc bikes even 25 years after the launch of this bike...did not it means that we r yet million years slow wen it cumes to performance bikes....

Modern days pulsars or karizma can neevr touch the satisfaction n fantasies of an rd350 riders...

Lets hope yamaha guys can bring it back in india.....
