My name is Pundalika Pai. I had reserved 3 seats(11.12.14) from Baroda to Pune
on 2nd August 2009 from SUVIDHA TRAVELS, BARODA. The address is as follows
114, GoldenTradeCenter,
Next to Bata Showroom,

The seats were reserved in the name of My Colleague Rajib Das for Raj Travels. The Reporting time was 11.30 P.M but the bus came at 12.30 near PandyaBridge to pick us. There were more passengers like us. The bus left baroda, within half an hour it stopped on a dhabba on the high way.
Again it started after a halt of 20 minutes. The bus was moving as scheduled, but around 3.45 A.M the bus stopped. Being early morning nobody intially noticed the bus had stopped. Around half an hour the bus had stopped, the passengers started to make enquiry why the bus has stopped??
The driver informed that there has been a break down, calls were made by the the driver to the concerned person (which he only knows). Around five the driver vanished under the pretext of finding a mechanic. The waiting staff (helper) was left behind for the travelers to hound upon, who definitely was not in a position to respond to the situation.
Around 6 A.M few travelers stopped a truck and took a drop till mumbai. Later we came to know that we were strangled on a highway 7K.M from billimora station. It was 7 in the morning and there was no news from the driver nor did he return. We were left with no options. we called the above mobile number but nobody picked up the calls. We then managed to get a ride till the Billimora station, took a taxi to mumbai and the reached pune late in the afternoon.
I have been a frequent traveler by Raj for the past 2 years. Infact last week i.e. on 26th July I traveled from Baroda to Pune by Raj Travels.The fact that such type of service is not expected from Raj Travels.The situations could have been handled well; I understand the bus break down is something which is not controlled but yes the situation after that could have been?
I called the mobile number and spoke to a person, who said that they will not be able to refund the money and will have to get in touch with the Raj Travels office. I would appreciate if you would refund the ticket fare(2550) since the service provided by Raj was not complete, nor any alternate arrangement was made in a time frame and it has incurred in additional expenditure of Rs. 4000/ - for us to reach our destination.
Incase I don’t find a revert to this mail with 24 hours, I shall assume that you have not agreed upon to refund the ticket fare, failing which I will have to take the next necessary course of action to get back my money.
