Radio City commenced its first station - broadcasting in Bangalore 7 years back and it was offering its best world class programs for its listeners. 
Infact I have attended its 2 nd  anniversary functions held at Leela Palace Hotel.
Radio City had its best array of RJ’s like Chaithanya, Saggy, Johncy ,Ms Vasanthi  and few other RJ’s. 
Bangalore was live 24/7x365 days with out a break . Certain programs were too good that even senior citizens/grand old parents  used to appreciate. One among such was  “Chocho bath” on every Sunday at 8 am hosted by RJ Chaithanya and currently aired by RJ Nanda (I believe)
 
Mr Johncy & Saggy used to rock Bangalore with Angrezi numbers and right now Mr Saggy is hosting Radio City’s Rock Show on Sunday from 1800 hrs to 2100 hrs in addition to his main portfolio as program director( Maaph karna if I used wrong designation)
 
Infact I have won several contests conducted by Radio City and even participated in a bid contest where Baghban film  (a film by Ravi Chopra productions acted by Amitab Bachan & Hemamalini) a saree worn by Hemamalini was auctioned  for a noble cause by Shoppers Stop and I was the highest bidder and won the saree for my wife ( see Hema’s pic for description of the saree). I have an appreciation /  letter of authenticity signed both by Mr Ravi Chopra & Mrs Hema Malini. 
  
Now after leaving Bangalore coming down to Vadodara, I was very upset on missing Radio City and my favorite RJ’s. But it was blessing in disguise Radio City commenced its broadcasting even at Banyan city Vadodara since last year.
 
Here too we have few good RJ’s and Program Directors. The programes are getting better day by day as Radio City had its commitment to its Gujju listeners and now spreading its wings, setting trends, bench marking world class standards.
Applauds to Radio City team especially a big one to its Program Director –Mr Ashwath Ramachandran.
 
Few of its RJ’s are Ashish, Jiah, Payal, Priyanka. RJ Rahoul (its something different)  host  Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi from 2100 hrs to 2300 hrs and Love Guru arrives at 2300 hrs with his consultancy services for those who are in love seeking tips.
 
No matter whether I’m in Vadodara or at any other cities – Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai or New Delhi, where RC ( pls note RC stands for Radio City and not anything else) is there, it remains my companion.
