Being told high about this heater by the agency. that is the shop from which i use to buy all eIectrical products. I bougt 10L Racold around 2 1/2 yrs back on his advice. Was working well.

But suddenly stopped. the coil got burnt. Coil burning out in 2 1/2 years...The garantee period had just elapsed. Where as the other water heater (Venus) is 40 yrs old.. Its coil had to be changed after 30 yrs. Now 10 years .. working without any complaint.. what a difference? I take it for granted that Racold fits substandard quality component/ componets.. in my case.. "the coil".I had to spend Rs. 750/ to get the coil replaced by a new one. I feel that componets like coil should not get damaged in such a short period, because it is not usually affected by low voltage. In our aread never goes to high voltage.
