I had a hard time coming up with a title for the review. I considered "Insults your intelligience but worth a watch"; I also considered "Macho guys and cleavage toting chicks".

This movie actually
insults your intelligience. There are so many plots here that every scene throws out a surprise... every actor has an agenda of his/her own. But you have to watch it once to see the extent to which the movie can attempt to test your patience.

Paradoxically, brilliant acting by Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor and Bipasha Basu... what a waste of talent. However, Katrina Kaif still can’t act...

Also, the cinematography and background scores give you the feel of a thriller. But again the cheesy cliche’d dialogues make you cringe - "Log khushi mein bhi peete hai, gham mein bhi peete hai", "A guy needs a cold beer and a hot chick" - Plleaasseee....

This movie will appeal to brawny macho guys with a tiny brain... it has all the ingredients, super-fast cars, horses, garish display of wealth, perennially horny chicks, etc.

I will not elaborate on the plot for 2 reasons... one is because I do not want to ruin the surprise element and secondly, if I start explaining the plot, my entire Sunday will go waste and maybe yours too.

There are 6 characters: Ranbir Singh is played by Saif who owns a stud farm in South Africa and bets on horses. Rajiv Singh is played by Akshaye Khanna who is Ranbir’s younger alcoholic brother. Sofia is Ranbir’s secretary played by Katrina Kaif. And Sonia is Rajiv’s wife played by Bipasha Basu. Robert D’Costa, ie.Anil Kapoor is a fruit-eating detective and Mini played by Sameera Reddy is his cleavage toting assistant. Like I said, every actor has a plot or two of his own and every actor takes a lot of pain to outsmart the other.

Anil Kapoor is one of the saving graces of the movie, his and Sameera Reddy’s character bears resemblance to Karamchand and Kitty.

Its actually funny if you do not take the movie seriously, people keep coming back from the dead, public property is damaged for no apparent reason, Saif Ali Khan can jump from one building to anothers just like Mithun of the 80s, secretaries wear skimpy clothes in office, every actor makes out with every other actor and apparently in South Africa, you can kill anyone, anytime.

Watch the movie... I want to see the frustrated and confused look on your face when you come out of the movie hall... :)
