I had memories of Abbas-Mustan’s last one which they tauted to be the most shocking thriller of 2007. I wasnt really sure to walk in or not but then I had nothing to do so I gave it a try.

So was this Risk worth taking ??

Race is a story about 2 step brothers. Saifli and Akshay Khanna. Both have them have lots of brotherly love amongst each other but that is only to show to the world.
One of them actually hates the other one as he can’t ever win in any game/race/plan against him.
This thing gets piled up from childhood to such a level that he lays out the plan to destroy the other one for an insurance policy some of 100 mn Rands.

The plan works well, with the help of a girl who only does things for money. The plan takes a lots of twists and turn but finally the sum of money all the plan is for, goes to the planner. There are a lots of twists and turns in it. Lots of twists and Turn which keep u on the edge o your seats ( with excitement and also with the scare of a reality movie like Naqaab so that u can get up n run away )

One thing that every Abbas Mustan Movie has in common is that every main lead character has shades of gray in him/her here.



Lets come down to other things

Direction: Good, but nothing like Humraaz, Ajnabee and Aitraaz.

Cinematography : Great

Songs : Funny yet good.

Action Scenes : Some were really good, but one was out of this world. The scene where Saif saves Bipasha, Hrithik ROshan of Krishh 7 or 8 would be ashamed even.



Performances:

When u have Akshaye Khanna acting with you, u have every chance of getting fcuked in acting department by him. Wonderful performance. He knocked eveyone else out in the scenes that involved him. - 4/5

Anil - A weakly scripted role but yet he manages to go well. Nothing like Vintage Anil Kapoor here still very good. 3/5

Saif - Good performance. He was good in all scenes. But he dint need to show his Sqaure Shaped Chest. 3/5


Ladies :

Bips : A good performance.

Sameera: She acted like she does.

Katrina : Seems she has taken a lot of acting lessons



from salman khan. She s started acting like him. God Save her now.


Overall - A thorough entertainer. There is no bullshitting yet no preachy gyan too. So this movie is only made with the purpose of entertaining people, and its successful in its endeavour.
