Proactive really and truly does work. However, I truly believe that many people misunderstand how the product is to be used.

When you first use Proactive, you’re probably going to get really annoyed to how sensitive your skin becomes. Not only that, your acne will probably get worse before it gets better. This is known as the benzoyl peroxide effect. Your acne will always get worse before it gets better.

For dry skin, people should use moisturizer such as Lubriderm body lotion. That’s what works for me. Other then that, your skin will eventually clear if you just keep following the Proactive method.
