Prestige Pressure Cooker is low quality. It's safely valve punctures frequently, rubber seal is very inconvenient it gets elongated and handles to hold the cooker during operation is of very poor quality.
#1. User friendly: It's a user friendly model when you're using a brand new cooker. After using it for 1 year or more you will notice that the cooker shape from the base gets oval, this is not good when you need to put the hot cooker on a flat surface. Another bad thing is the safety valve that fitted on the cover if the cooker this melts down when you want to cook food with less water. Prestige safety valves has these issues when you get a local safety valve fitted in your cooker then this issues gets resolved but I'm afraid that this's made from some metal that can withstand more steam pressure and it might be more dangerous inside cooker. This's a big concern but a local safety valve will give you good handling.
#2. Durability: The cooker's durable but the handle, safety valve and the Rubber Gasket is the most disappointing thing. Plastic handle are made from very cheap plastic and gets deformed in shape and cracks anytime and you should be very careful when cooker is hot or when it is filled because it can drop because handle can break off. This really happened with me once. Rubber Gasket after nominal usage gets expanded and then doesn't fit in the cooker cover. If you somehow try to make this fit then you will see that steam find escape vent from the Gasket and this's not good and could blow off the GAS flame.
#3: Handy: It's handy and very simply designed and when all things are intact it's a good cooker.
#4. Style & Design: It's simple and designed well only issue is the accessories. Accessories are very cheap and need very frequent replacement.
#5. Service & Support: This's not something you expect from a brand like Prestige because they do not have accessories like safety valve readily available and you've to wait from weeks if you want only Prestige safety valve and it's costly also. Support guys are not professional and you've to go with brand name not with the warranty they are offering because even for the deformation my dealer could get my cooker replaced.
