I 1st saw her in a Dance sequence with Shah Rukh Khan, (Dil Se)she was
quiet young What we see in her face is not delicate features like Sharmila
Tagore or say Saira Banu or Hema Malini, then when we see her in
motion and acting and smiling and crying, we assume she should create a
feeling in our hearts and minds etc., if you dont feel it, you say we are not
entertained.
As per rumor mill, she is going steady with Ness Wadia of (Bombay Dyeing)
its the personality which attracts, businessmen never judge wrong, its their
judgements which brings them immense profits
Entertaining a Audience is not very easy we are a group with very
diverse tastes and needs and desires, She can act that is for sure, she
is the daughter of a service man, she has poise and guts to carry herself
in our dog eat dog industry but she has survived with enough confidence
in producers to bank on her. She is clean to look at, in fact cleaniness is
pouring out of her every feature, be her teeth, eyes, smile, face all.
Some of the scenes she has acted in film DIL CHAHTA HAIwere
tender and evoking feeling and very well acted (impossible to
duplicate by anyone) she is not dwarfed against any actors since the
very beginning of her career. That is to her credit. Remember a
versatile and critics sweetheart Mr.Raj Babbar was very very dull in
front of Dilip Kumar in Mashaal, whereas Anil Kapoor in a very
unglamourous role in Tezaab excelled himself against the Universtiy
of Acting Dilip Kumar.
Its the personality, like all of us have, its the personality man, which makes
a person dear or endearing supported by the looks, the body, the acting ,
the clothes, the way they handel themselves, if its a scale of 1 to 10, I will
give Preity Zinta above 8 in personality, She has that bubbly voice and
bubbly face which can be remembered for a short while, it dosent leave
a lasting impression on your heart or mind like some other faces do. I
give her full credit for the effort she put to come to the place where
she is today.
There are people in our Film Industry who are made by others around them ,
some have fathers constant support, some have family constant support and
have media supporting them, etc., etc., We all Moviegoers know and see what
is put out to make a person look good, well this girl made it on her own steam.
Dont blame her for any part she played, its the work of writers, producers,
directors she is just here to cash on and toil to make money and keep her
image acceptable. I bet she can outshine any of hollywood beauties easily
in acting she can give run for their money to any actress in the world.
