We (actually my wife) have experienced a real horrible experience with Pratham Motors. She had taken it to their shop for general servicing, and after servicing we found the car to be pulling left-ish. That is if you leave the streering unattended it’ll spin to the left even on a flat straight road. She took it back to correct the  problem, but at the end of the day when they made the delivery, the car wasn’t drivable, as it can only go leftward. They claimed the power steering unit of the car has gone bad, and they have to change the entire steering assembly to fix the problem, which will cost us 40,000.00 Rs. I advised her to say choicest of her abuses to the service engineer and bring the car home immediately. Later in the week I took the vehicle to Sagar automobiles, and they fixed the problem in a few hours, completely free of cost. And the car is doing fine since then.

They are absolutely incompetent in servicing any car. I am not letting them touch cars of me or my friends.

We spoke later to the service engineer who refused to understand the problem.  We couldn’t get through his boss. This is a mail we wrote to them, but they didn’t reply.

It is with deep disappointment I’d like to share my feedback on the quality of service I have received from Pratham Motors. I have taken my vehicle Maruti Wagon-R to your service station for regular servicing  on 9/5/07 and advised the service engineer NAME_SUPPRESSED to check the wheel alignment as the steering strength required to turn left and right was different. Post-servicing the problem aggravated so much it was almost impossible to run the vehicle in straight line, as it’ll spin to left-side unless the steering is held tightly to prevent
the vehicle not to do so. When pointed out the problem to your service engineer, he recommended the whole power steering assembly to be changed to correct the problem and provided an estimate of approx 40 thousand rupees. Thankfully I realized the incompetence of your engineers and understood the futility of educating him. A few days later I took my vehicle to another service station who fixed the problem in a very short time completely free of charge. If I were to
listen to your service engineers, I am afraid that I’d have been a victim of your incompetence and carelessness.

They’ll simply destroy your car, that’s all I can say.
