I had decided to buy a Maruti Swift Vxi and was hunting for a dealer. As usual the first place I came to is Mouthshut.. read a few reviews and found Pratham a better option. My friend Rajan bought a maruti Wagon R recently and his experience with Pratham Motors and their sales executive Yadhav Kumar was very good. He introduced me to Yadav, who explained all the features and different variants of the car. I paid the booking amount and was busy arranging for the loan myself from SBI (who were taking ages) I heard from my company that I had to leave to the US in 2 days time. I was quite concerned as there was news that the prices would be hiked and the Road tax in karnataka would be increased. Yadav introduced me to the finance guy at Pratham who arranged citibank car loan in 20 mins (thanks to my good credit history) and I signed all the documents and left to the US. In a couple of days as pre-arranged, Yadav delivered the car at my residence and even covered the car as I would be back only in 3 weeks. When I came back the customer service representative Geetanjali made sure that I got all the promised accessories.

Its my first car and I have driven just 300 kms, will update after my first service... read some scary stories in mouthshut... hope they are not true.
