A Nirghtmare experience
I just wanted to spend some good time with my close friends on my birthday and since we all are huge sizzler fans we decided to go to Pop Tate’s (Andheri). We frequent
Pop Tate’s at Mulund (R-Mall) and I just love that place for their service, decor and music......... Assuming the same level of service and ambiance my friends and I ended at this place and to my worst nightmare it was really shady.
The music was bad and the waiters were even worse...... As we started to place our order we were surprised to see that more than half the dishes were not available........ can you believe this, coming to Pop Tate’s and not eating sizzling brownie with choclate sause on a Sunday evening. I don’t understand how can they run out of stock on a sunday evening when they expect the maximum crowd to be there.
We were around 12 people and so I requested the waiter to serve us the food (main course only), he refused saying that Pop Tate’s encourages self service. I just asked him one question, "why do you get the food? inform us na, we’ll get it from the kitchen." frankly speaking it was an insult to my friends and me because this would have never happened at Mulund. Oh, how can I forget about the TOILETS........ It was dirty (believe me it was using the ones at CST station, infact even worse than that.
I don’t know about others but I have sweared never to go to that same place again......... even if I do I’ll go to Mulund and nowhere else..........
You know friends.... sometimes its not only about the food but also the over all experience of the place you dine. Some days have to remembered in a good way and birthdays for sure..... So, if you are prepared to make fool out of your self on a speacial occasion please go to Pop Tate’s or else.............. FORGET IT.
