Hi Friends,
I would like to recommend to everyone who is a child or is childlike in spirit to visit once POGO channel. Basically it is a channel devoted to children but I am sure adults like
me are also hooked to it.
The content is light in spirit, neat, clear and bubbly.
I must admit the adventures of Huckleburry Finn (I mean harry Potter) I watched on POGO a few weeks back. Without listing the programmes here (which everyone interested can access from POGO website or from TV), I would like to recommend one of the programme: TAKESHI’S CASTLE.
The program is actually a Game show and it is a Japanese program. The funniest part of it is its Hindi Commentary by Javed Jafery. We all know about the talent of Javed Mian as a film star, Dancer or Host-cum-Judge of a Late Dance show on Sony but here Javed Bhai is simply Great taskmaster as a dubbing artist-cum-commentator. His spontaneous comments are hilarious, perfectly synchronised with game scenes. One only needs to watch it once to get hooked to it.
I wish some of the Best shows dubbing-wise or by screen presence must be hosted by Our Prince Charming Rithik and Bubbly (not Rani) but Pretty Zinta, singularly or together....POGO TV must invite both of them for anchoring programmes.
Admitting most of the Game menu of Takeshi’s Castle is almost repetitive, the novelty is one does not get bored due to the wonderful commentary. So Friends, check it out and then rate it....
P.S. : If you enjoy it, I suppose you will enjoy other programs on POGO also like TELETUBBIES and Ethelburt besides Oswald and Noddy... and I suppose all of you have already grown up and still growing up MORE with evergreen TOM AND JERRY on cartoon Network.
