My son goes to Vijay nagar branch, planet kids in Playgroup and we are totally satisfied to continue for nursery too.
Things I liked there:
1.Teachers; out door play area specious includes slides, zula and many other things, splash pool, sandpit(all play schools have nowadays) ; cleanliness
2.They stick to their rules for age crieteria for admission and does not compromise just for the sake of not loosing admission like other play schools.
3.They are very professionals, systematic, follow all protocols., not asking for any money through out a year after collecting fees. not like other play school who even bargain with fees.
- Don't give any home work or activities/material from home which demands parents efforts/time/money.
5.Their attitude, method and Curriculum designed is so that it doesn't burden kids at all, no stress to kids.
6.Got more than we expacted as far as activites they make kids do. They spend materials like chart papers, colours, stickers very generously.
7.some parents might not prefer but we prefer not to start accadamics at playgroup/nursary so we are happy they dont start with ABC/123.
8.No "let go" kind of attitude or "sake of doing" attitude for festivals, events, gift to children. they really make children happy by following these sincerly and systematically.
9.They understand child very well(sometimes better than us). Their activities are such that child will be definitely happy and engaged. they even make them play giving attention which we might not do at home. My son is very shy, not socialzing type, we dint expact him to cope up with schooling so early but he is happy there.
Things to improve:
1.Parents teacher meeting doesn't give much time but though they answer all our questions.
2.1st parents teacher meeting happens only at end of 2 months so till then we have to wait to know in detail whether our kid has got settled or not. (Though b4 that if u want to talk u can take teacher's appointment and meet on any day )
3.They give admission any time through out year if in that month your kid's age criteria is met. For example if ur kid is 1.10 in October they will take him in playgroup. Age calculation should be in reference to june only though they give admission in October.
4.Their website is still under construction so that you don't get other information than contact detail
Fees 29, 700/- includes everything :for play group. Though its little higher than other play schools but its really really worth. Though no playschool is less than 22, 000/- but difference in quality is amazing as we compare through out the year with other kids who go to other play schools other than planet kids. They have contract with some cab service provider so van facility is available but that is independent from school administration and money is also excluded.
And yeah they do give many holidays as many parents commented as disadvantage but I think for 2-3 year aged kids that's good.
