An excellent is a book that has never got done with saying what it needs to say.
When I first read this book in the unproductive years of my childhood I was energized, overpowered and a clear slate(as Dorian seems to be, upon his first experience with Lord Henry) effectively shaped, convinced, impacted, and so on. Certain Wildisms would blow my mind. Would turn into my adages to have faith in.
His writing is similar to spilled nectar streaming over a wooden table and waterfalling onto the floor underneath. The thick fluid streaming gradually over the edge. His plot, splendidly paced, moves gradually as we wade more profound and more profound into Dorian Gray's twisted life. Over the edge we go as everything turns out badly, there's death, there's torment, there's long discussions about craftsmanship.
This book is still one of my top picks and most likely justified regardless of the time. Extraordinary consummation, and a story not effectively overlooked.
