I Purchased Philips HTS 3152 on 31st Oct 2008. For the 1st 2 Years , the Product was working fine. Then the Product one day stopped reading the CD's. I contacted the Philips customtakeouter care, who directed me to SKY Service Centre, Based in Mira Road (Which also happens to be their Authorized Service Center). Initially they told that I need to change the head, as it was not reading CD's. I did this in the month of November 2010.


As I use the product Sparingly, I noticed the same Cause of Not reading the Cd once again, which prompted me to contact the Authorized Service Center. When ever their Technician used to come, the product worked fine for a day or 2, then the same problem re surfaced. That the Time, in the Month of Jan, they mentioned that an IC had to be replaced, as the IC now was not working. They gave me a Quote of Rs. 1490 +AMC  for repairs. Which I Paid, But the same problem still Persisted. They would come over and clean/repair and the HTS would run for 2 to 3 working day and then stop working. This went in for next 2 Quarters, till in the Month of Aug , I asked them through Philips customtakeouter care to get it rectified for once and for all. The Product taken in the month of August, till date has not been delivered. Inspite of Constant Followups, with Philips customtakeouter Care & Their Authorised Service Centre, They both have been passing the Buck on Each other. Neither of them have Any Clue as to What is the Status of the Product. DOES IT TAKE 3 Months to repair a Product, which is Covered under AMC. Nobody Wants to take the Onus. Will Philips , Such a BIG BRAND NAME GIVES SUCH A BAD SERVICE of the Product that they SELL. I Brought This Product becoz I had a belief the Brand NAME PHILIPS. BUT NOW NEVER IN MY LIFE I'll BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM PHILIPS. NEITHER I WOULD RECOMMEND ANY PERSON TO BUY ATLEAST THE CONSUMER PRODUCT . They may be good @ Lightings. NOt not that successful at CONSUMER PRODUCTS.
