A great nifty shaver. My first one. I was skeptical about electric shavers having used the Sensor Excel for a long time. Ordered it of Letsbuy, came quick and I opened it up. Came with a Base Shaver unit, a Charger, a brush and the user manual which was more like an instruction sheet.
I had at that time a 4-5 day beard and while from what I heard that the ideal beard to shave using similar products is not more than 2-3 days but I still went ahead with my first shave.
It was amazing. As I ran it over my face I could barely even feel it there and the hairs just kept vanishing. The floating heads keep adjusting so all you have to do is mold the shaver to your face's contours and it does it job. As long as one can move the shaver slowly and keep it close to the skin it does it job.
Now I compared it with a regular shave. Well I'll say its almost a 90% similar. I wouldn't say its exactly as close as a regular shave but then I just completed my first shave. At parts its as close as a regular blade shave and at others its just a notch below. I take it I still need to learn how to move the shaver properly and I should have a shave as close as a regular blade.
The skin did not have that stretched and hurt feel that comes after a regular shave and felt good. I opened the shaver as instructed and out fell a clump of shaved hair. Its washable so I washed it under the tap with warm water. Opening it was no problem, it was easy and hardly took 5 mins to clean it out including the blades which is usually recommended every 2 months. I did it just to see how easy it was.
All in all I am satisfied with the product as of now and would certainly recommend it.
