This is a three-in-one appliance. This Philips HL-1632 is able to do all your mixing, juicing and grinding. My family is using this machine for over six months now and we are not fully satisfied with this product. This machine produce loud noise and it heavily consumed electricity. Our monthly electricity bill goes up whenever we use this machine. As a mixer and grinder it performs okay but as a juicer it is not up to task. We use this machine to extract juice from carrots, oranges, kinnow, and watermelon. Plastic quality is mediocre and all three jars are also made from poor quality materials. One of my glass jars is already cracked from the bottom the other one has already started leaking; I had to change its lid to make it functional again. Steel quality is also very poor. It looks like they are going to break soon.
It has 3 speed setting option. The machine total weight is 5 kg, which is hard to carry from one place to other.
Cleaning is a headache. It gets very dirty after using it and takes a while to clean it.
I wouldn’t say that it is very attractive and stylish. The plastic quality all over the motor is average. Steel that has been used in jars is also of very poor quality.
It is not last very long, jars already cracked, motor heats up even after 15 minutes of continuous use. Because of its loud noise we don’t use it in the nights and in the early mornings.
I don’t know much about its service staff. I haven’t seen any Philips service centre in my area.
Overall, I never expected this kind of product from the Philips. They must improve quality and their support staff. I wouldn’t recommend this machine to anyone.
