Diesel vehicle cost more than 1 Lakh compare to petrol vehicle.
Petrol Car mileage= 19 km/L
Diesel Car mileage= 23 km/L
Petrol Cost= 68 Rs/L
Diesel Cost= 45 Rs/L
For 1 year you traveled 10000km.
Petrol Car expense=(10000/19) * 68= 35789
Diesel Car expense=(10000/23) * 45= 19565
Difference is 16224.
If u are taking vehicle for loan, 1 Lakh cost 1765Rs for 1 month with 12%, so for 1 year it will cost 21180 Rs(1765* 12).
if u go for petrol u can save 4956Rs. And also maintenance cost will be less.
