Comparison in petrol vsDiesal car

The major dilemmas faced by the car buyers today is to opt for which of the two fuel options: Petrol or Diesel? Virtually, Diesel feels more economic to customers as the fuel is cost is low compared to Petrol which makes the running cost economical and diesel engines are more fuel efficient which makes the deal tempting for any customer. But, things aren’t the way it actually looks! Diesel vehicles are noisier and more expensive to maintain as compared to the petrol powered. the diesel powered cars under 10 lakhs are usually a lac to 1.5 lacs more than the petrol motor! the diesel options are suitable only for those if your running is more than 70-80kms per day and if the difference between the petrol and the diesel motor aren’t creating much difference in terms of costing [ should be less than a lac]. the fuel costs per city are different but that is also a major factor that should influence the diesel choice over the petrol as in some cities there is not much of a difference between petrol and diesel costs. While on the other hand, Petrol cars are cheaper, Engines are Peppy and Responsive, easier to maintain and a lot more silent as compared to diesel engines. Earlier the petrol motors used to be less fuel efficient but now the petrol motors gives a proper fight to the diesel engines in terms of fuel efficiency. Petrol powered cars are for the ones who needs performance and responsive engines as diesel is a liquid and petrol is a spirit which combusts at a higher rate resulting in responsive engines! Also, if you have a daily running of less than 50-60 km, always go for a petrol motor as virtually you would save up the cost of fuel which you initially pay more [ 1 to 1.5 lac ] for a diesel motor. And, if you live in a small city like Dehradun or any other for that matter go for a petrol motor! I hope this review was useful to you. Like, comment and share if you found this review useful.
