Use for flu. Review on PediaSure

We use this whenever the kids are sick, coupled with Pedialite. Of course parents panic a bit when their kids are unwell but dehydration is a serious issue, even here in the US. We tried Gatorade at first but disliked the amount of sugar in it. it would be fine for an adult to drink but children's systems are odd, especially when they are sick. The last thing a parent wants is a hyperactive sick kid, running about dropping germs en route.

Pediasure is like a kids protein drink; if your child is vomiting, try just PediaLite instead.

The pedialite comes in only a few flavors but woks to hydrate children quickly. We still use it during times of sickness even though they are older, as we've not found another brand with so little sugar. When drinking some myself, I found it tasted much like hospital medicine; not entirely unpleasant but it could see kids viewing this as'do I have to take hat?'

If you're able to get a doctors advice on how much to give, that is always preferable. We followed the directions on the back of the PediaLite bottle and treatment worked out just fine in the dosage amounts stipulated.

We've used the pediasure once more on a trip where we were walking around the beach and the kids begna ot feel hungry. The store being a drive away I let them drink one of the smaller cans of the pediasure. They were not hungry for some time after that, so it worked out.
