In 2008 I underwent 7 weeks of radiation therapy for cancer of the tongue and tonsil. The head nurse in radiation oncology had worked in radiation oncology all over the world for 38 years. She told me to never use Dove soap because the, so called "moisturiser" remaining on my skin is boiled by the xray treatment making the burning caused by xray to make the side effects of radiation treatment worse. Radiation treatment causes second degree burns to inside my mouth and facial skin. The nurse told me to use Pears soap before attending each radiation treatment, and after treatment apply Alo Vera and to never use any moisturiser after treatment.
Before changing to "Pears" I noticed the Dove soap dissolved so quickly costing me more, which is good business for Unilever, but not for my purse.
My wife has had very bad psoriasis for all her 70 years, since using Pears her psoriasis has improved dramatically. The first time in 70 years.
I just hope Unilever don't "fiddle" with the Pears formula to increase their profits.
