Great Soap With Extra Benefits!. Review on Pears Soap

My family and I have been using Pears Soap(the original formula variant) for decades, beginning with my great grandmother, down to me, for not only our bathing needs, but also for washing our faces, as part of our daily routine.

Apart from being a soap that has been tried and tested by family members for decades, what attracted me to Pears soap was its mild and non-intrusive fragrance, its soft texture and transparent appearance(in comparison to other bathing soaps). I also love the fact that it is being sold in a value pack, consisting of three bars of soaps. But at the same time, I do prefer the 125 gram bar, as it lasts longer, hence serving as a more economical option.

Not only does the soap lather quickly and adequately, but it also makes your skin feel softer.

The only disadvantage that I can think of, is the fact that when a bar of soap, has almost been used up completely, there have been times when the remnants of the soap bar, just disintegrate into this white and gooey mass, which can be pretty messy and annoying to handle!

Also, from my experience, this wonderful bar of soap, really comes in handy as a secret weapon in my fight against pimples. I do experience annoying breakouts once in a while and I believe in the saying:'prevention is better than cure'!

Instead of wasting money buying all sorts of vague, fly by night anti-pimple creams and face washes, that assume the form of thick and messy looking lotions and creams, containing all sorts of chemicals, that do more harm than good, I choose to follow a simple routine, every morning, to prevent breaking out into pimples.

After brushing my teeth, I wet my palms with a bit of Pears soap. I make sure that the soap bar lathers, adequately. I next, gently apply the soap onto my face. I make sure that I avoid applying the soap in the area under my eyes(as exposure to Pear's soap, makes my eyes very red). After applying the soap, I wait for around 5 to 7 minutes, before thoroughly washing off the soap, from my face. It is my intention that the soap, acts as a kind of face mask! I next, use a clean and soft towel to dry my face. This routine has really helped in pimple prevention!

But I don't have the courage to follow this routine, with any other brand of soap!
