I read a lot of negative reviews on Paulo travles and I feel pity for them Here is my experience with Paulo travels from hyderabad -> Goa on 14 Sep. My friend had booked a semi sleeper ticket for me the previous day.Before starting for the journey I read the reviews on paulo and was also checking the number of seats booked till then .All the reviews were pretty bad and looking at the no of seats booked I was apprehensive that my bus would be cancelled any time as only around 10 seats were booked.
Then, I called my friend who had booked the ticket and started abusing him:P why he booked a ticket in Paulo. Then bus arrived 30 mins late and to my surprise there were hardly 8-9 people in the bus.There was a sigh of relief atleast the bus didn't got cancelled. Then the bus stopped for dinner around 8:45 pm. There was still a thought going in back of my mind that the bus might get changed in the course of journey as very few people were present in the bus. But, to my surprise the same bus went to goa with around 10-15 people. It reached goa as per my expected time.
The bus staff behaviour was ok.The only good thing about paulo is that it goes to the interior part of goa city. No other bus goes. The last stoppage for others would be Panjim which is far if you have booked your hotel near baga or calangute.
While returning from goa, I also wanted to travel by Paulo Semi sleeper but there was no bus on that day.Only Sleeper was available. So, I returned by SVR travels.
