Worst experience ever!. Review on Paulo Travels, Goa

I am a frequent traveller and travel much between Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. I used to prefer Paulo buses till I met this horrible experience.

I was travelling from Pune to Madgaon-Goa in a non-ac sleeper bus of Paulo travels on 4th March 2016. While I was in sleep, suddenly I heard a big bamm and woke up and saw that bus was literally lying down cross on a side and we all passengers started vacating the bus. Driver shut the cabin door and was not allowing to move us out. After some voices and requests he opened the door and we could move out.

It was about 100kms away from Kolhapur and was a dark jungle kind of road where all of us werw standing. We saw some other Paulo buses passing by. Driver of our bus stopped them ans asked something but I think there were no seats in those buses to they went. After waiting for an hour we asked driver about further plan, they said they have contacted office but no action is initiated and it will take more time.

Finally we started looking at other vehichles passing by and tried to get a lift. Luckily after 30 mins of effort, we saw a Goa Kadamba Transport normal ST bus and we raised hands to it. They stopped and fortunately there were seats available. We got it and paid for tickets and reached Madgaon travelling 250 kilometers of bumpy ride.

After reaching Madgaon we went to Paulo office and asked for refund for the Kadamba ticket, they talked rudely and asked that we need to visit Paulo main office in Panji(35kms away) to ask this. They gave a number of a person named Santosh. Disappointment it was.

After two days I went to Panji office and asked for Santosh. He was not available in office. We waited for sometime and then an other person in office asked us to call Santosh. When I called him and described my scene he shouted at me ans said do not ask for refund as our bus driver paid ticket fees to your Kadamba bus conductor. That was ridiculous. After that I requested other ppl at office to check the details. They asked me to go to Parking and ask the driver. I went to the Parking and asked for the driver of Pune Goa Bus but noone answered me there. I did not get refund and even did not get a proper treatment.

This was my last journey in Paulo bus.
