This is with respect to our bus journey with Paulo travels from Mumbai to Goa(Madgaon) on 10th March, 2017.
Ideally the time taken by car to reach Madgaon is around 14 hours. Considering the halts taken by bus I assume it should take around 16 hrs on the higher side. But we took around 23 hrs to reach Goa
One of the reason for the delay was 2 tyre punctures during the journey. Not just the tyre puncture but the amount of time taken to get the same repaired was appalling. The first tyre puncture took around 1 hr to be repaired and another took 2.30 hrs to get repaired. This shows ill prepared journeys, ill equipped staff and poor maintenance of buses.
The other issue that we had was no proper halts for use of toilets and lunch. When asked to halt, the driver was rude to a few passengers. Even the halt take for lunch was at a horrible restaurant with no proper lighting or hygiene inspite of other good restaurants on the way.
The small light installed inside each double bed seats was not working. This means that after closing the curtains we had to sit in complete darkness.
All in all a horrible experience. Will never travel by Paulo Travels again.
