We had a trip to Goa. Booked tickets from Bangalore To Goa and return tickets from Poulo travels. It was a King size AC bus, please don't go by the name it really sucks.
1) The bus was pathetic , the temperature was very low, the AC regulators were not working, we all were shivering , when asked to increase the temperature the so called Poulo employees said they cannot reduce the temperature and if we are feeling cold we can buy blankets from them. They charged 70 bucks for the blankets. And there were no sufficient blankets too.
2) They stopped at a remote place near Sira for dinner at around 11 pm and that was a horrible place. Don't even think of having dinner there. The toilets were stinking, You don't have to enter the toilet, the bad odor had surrounded the area, that wasn't a toilet it was just three walls with a plastic door and no place for u to step. When asked the driver to stop at some place wer the ladies in the bus can at least use a clean toilet the driver said you can take some other travels we cannot stop anywhere else.
3) They were not on time. We had planned for a two days trip and these people ate all the time.
4) While returning its the same issue. We had booked the Volvo AC , the Volvo is not a new Volvo, its some 1947 old Volvo, 2+2 sleeper, it was like two persons sleeping on one seat, very congested.Water was leaking from the AC duct. Pathetic again. They were supposed to reach Bangalore at 9:30, but reached at 11 , before I booked the tickets I had asked for the drop points and accordingly planned all my other activities as I had office the same day. They reached Bangalore and stopped in Majestic and said that's the last point , but they had the drop points till bannerghatta Road. When asked, the driver said he doesn't know the route and he started giving silly reasons. After a big argument a staff in the office asked the driver to drop us to Jayadeva Stop. We were 20 seats not 1 or 2 that he had to drop.
Please Take these reviews seriously. DO NOT TRAVEL BY POULO TRAVELS. There are many other better travels.
