Like many others I had read the reviews but chose to go ahead and travel by Paulo from Goa-Pune. The bus was 1 hour late. Staff was very rude. Seats had not just cockroaches but bed bugs too. it was sleeper and the double sleeper was so narrow that even 1 person cant sleep. u have to keep ur hands and legs on the person next to you. they stop every 5 minutes for saying hi hello to hotel pple, passengers are taken and dropped like local buses especially after 4am. the shutter for each seat makes u feel like you are in a coffin. if u suffocate the window does nt open(non ac bus).
I too thought as mentioned by sum1 it is an isolated incident and travelled again from Pune to gpa. the bus took 16 hours.it usually takes around 10 hrs.
I booked ac sleepr volvo this time. in addiition to alll the above issue, 2 minytes before the departure time, we were called saying ac volvo has been cancelled and we have to travel by non ac sleeper. money was not refunded. when I checked with my local agent I was told the ac volvo was only on altrtnate days and they had planned to shift me to non ac from the start and cheated by taking higher money.
I know pple will ignorre the reviews and still use the bus. but u hope atleast 1 person is saved from torture after reading this review.
