On 5th February, I had urgent meeting to be attended at Pune. I took the morning flight of Paramount from Chennai to Pune...a non-stop flight at 9.45 am. As I was late, I did web check-in before driving
to airport and reached on time. The check-in counter was well arranged. Though I already printed my boarding pass at home, they gave me another regular boarding pass and tied cabin baggage tag. When I checked the boarding pass, it mentioned ’Business Class’. When I asked the counter executive, she said the entire aircraft has only business class and that’s why the flight is known as Paramount Business Elite. Actually I paid less than the ecconomy class of other airlines like Jet Airways, Indian Airlines, Kingfisher etc.
The flight took off on time (doors were closed 10 mts before, and the Plane was ready to take-off from the runway on time). Nice reception as you board the plane, lot of reading materials, and free magazine of our choce to take home apart from In-flight Paramount magazine, welcome drink etc. As the flight was at 9.45 am, being diabetic, I took quick sandwiches at the airport. After take off the air hostess started serving breakfast...so tasty...more than sufficient. They also gave a ’scratch card’ to try our luck. I got Rs.3000/- worth of useful gift! They were also selling variety of things on board at 50% discount. I ordered for Rs. 4000/- worth for Rs.2000/-...all I collected at Chennai when I returned on the same night by lousy King Fisher flight (I will write review about that also). The flight landed 15 mts before scheduled time. Before landing they gave a soft/fruit drink of our choice again!
A week before this flight only I returned from Frankfurt by Emirates. I tell you, Paramount beat the world famous ’Emirates’!
I am again flying to Pune on 5th March and booked my ticket by Paramount
