Paramount is a life saver for me, as it is the only airline that flies between Trivandrum and Hyderabad. The baseline with Paramount,

is that you get good value for the money that you pay.
The airport staff are courteous and helpful. The first thing that you will notice is the baggage allowance of 30kg, which is the best in its class.

          

On boarding the plane, you will feel the difference. From the welcome drink to the dinner, the quality offered on board is superb. The seats are plush and comfortable and the leg space is very good. The dinner is 3 course and is South Indian, by nature. The food quality is much better than that of KF or Jet. The food in Paramount is served hot and tasty! No other airline serves pappad with your main course and tender coconut water for welcome drink :) Kudos!
The lounge facility is pretty decent and is worth waiting there if you reach the airport early.

          

There is an onboard shopping brochure that is handed over to the passengers, with a scratch card. The scratch card gifts are not top class and you have to pay Rs 500 to get them. But hey, if you are getting a mobile phone, who’s complaining!!! Although most of the times you will get a pearl set or a cutlery set.

          

Another difference that I have felt is in the take off and landing. I have felt its a lot quicker, like that of a bigger airplane, but since the Embraer jet itself is small, the pressure variation becomes huge as compared to an ATR. Butcoconut w if you can yawn your way through, its just fine.

          

As for the Cons, I have had delayed flights, couple of times. Also, the airline’s website is pathetic and I have had some problems in booking using Visa cards. The frequent flyer also needs a lot of improvement.

          

I hope that Paramount does introduce some early or budget fares for maybe a limited no: of seats.
That would just kill Paramount’s competition.
