Whoever has done the branding for Paramount, has done one hell of an excellent job. Or perhaps its just that everything about the airline came together to spell quality which made it well-known in a short
time. Barely three years into its operations and this blue bird is dominating the skies, elbowing presumably more powerful players such as Jet or KF and grabbing (much to everyone’s utter astonishment) a very sizable market share in the South. Some newspapers are going so far as to say that Paramount is the only airline in the country that is profitable today.

I had a very interesting trip on Parmount recently. The first class was jam packed with VVIP’s. We had ministers on board galore and I heard that once, Aishwarya Buchchan  and Abhishek had travelled together after completing their film shooting for Guru.  It’s not so much that their passenger guest list reads like a veritable who’s who of India, look at the sheer facts that have led to their dominion.  Their jets are faster, cleaner, appear more sophisticated; their treatment of their passengers is infinitely superior to any airline out there today. Their food (the only airline I know that serves hot flavourful soups and delectable desserts with real silver cutlery for a touch of class) is unmatchable by other airlines. It’s amazing how much of an experience they pack in for you in a forty minute flight. Even their in-flight magazine is a class apart.

It makes me wish they’d start international operations, so that we can enjoy this kind of comfort and hospitality for say, eight to twelve hours.

I’m always reluctant to get off a Paramount flight. The seats are so comfortable that I can sleep in peace, awaken to a good meal. The crowd you travel with it is ultra sophisticated. (Ok, call me elitist or a snob, but that matters to me. I would never settle for being treated like cattle on a lost cost carrier). There is pin drop silence in the cabin at all times and soothing classical music plays softly in the background. I can barely hear the engines!! On the low cost brothers, even the ATRs of full service airlines such as Jet and KF along these same sectors howl away to glory. By the time you arrive at your destination, you have a splitting head-ache to match with your backache on the cramped seats.

If comfort matters at all to you and if health comes first, as it often does in business circles, when taking 3 consecutive flights in a day is quite commonplace as you jump from one meeting to the next in different cities, then I would highly recommend Paramount. Bottom line--this sleek airline will power your productivity.
