I have been using Pantene on and off for years and the more they change the formula, the worse it gets. I have a thick, full head of normal hair and when I first started using it, everything seemed normal.
Then I noticed clumps of hair in the strainer after my showers. So I would switch to something else and then go back to Pantene again. The hair loss was multiplying with each use. I thought it was just me and convinced my husband to try it. He too, left hair all over the shower. A month and a half ago, as I was sitting at my stylist’s shop enjoying a good shampoo, he looked at me horrified. He had two BIG clumps of hair in his hands after shampooing my head. He immediately told me I had a thyroid problem. I assured him that everything was fine and that it was just from the use of the Pantene and that I had discontinued its use. He made me aware of three other clients of his that had the same complaint. I have to admit, I did like the softness and the shine Pantene leaves in my hair, but not at the risk of losing it all.
