After reading a lot of reviews about palio here, I finally feel my self that I have made a good decision. I got my Red giant ( Palio 1.2) for rs.94000 6 months back and have done 8000+ kms, I use my car only for long drive and trust me this is an excellent machine for middle class people for long drives( very safe).
Initially 6 months back I was returning from a royal enfield showroom after test driving a Royal Enfield 350 classic and planned to get that bull, on the way returning back home we stopped for a smoke and it was 8:15pm, while smoking me and my friend was looking at this machine standing alone dirtily in the corner of the road, and saw the owner speaking to a guy about selling the car and the shocking news is that he is planning to sell it for 1.10 lacs and the guy demanding for 80000. it was a 2004 registered model.
Myself and my friend went near to the guy and asked him why is he selling the car and he said it gave hime low mileage and he got a new wagonr. I immediately dropped the idea of buying royal enfield and finished the deal for 94000, lot of my friends adviced me not to go for fiat, but trust me now two of my friends were ready to take the veichle for 1.5 lacs, I just changed the spark plugs to iridium and serviced the veichle, it cost me 4500 bucks, but after that my queen cant be stopped in highways it gave me 16.1km/l in high ways. I enjoy each and every moment I drive the car. :))
