I have a Palio ELX which was bought in 2002 middle. I did quite a lot of survey and fixed on this car. It is certainly one of the best in its category. The service provider of Fiat is dismal to say the least. I am from Allahabad and now Fiat has a Tata-Fiat dealer which is different from the dealer I bought my car. Now the engine has developed a fault, it just refuses to start many times after switching off. It needs pushing etc. on gear to start.
The battery is new and car is well maintained and has run only 11, 000 km or so. This new dealer has no expert ise of Fiat engine and is scared to see the engine even! I do not know whim to conract in the Fiat Company. Some guy named Mangesh Kodalkar from After sale service was coordinating with me but now his mails are bouncing back. Can anyone suggest whom to contact.. Really Fiat has no intensive to provide good service to its customers. I really recommend people to think thousand times before deciding on buying Fiat cars.
