I have done 35000 Kms on my Palio NV 1.2 and I will say its a very good car. The power is good as compared to cars in the same segment and the milage is also good as compared to what you here for fiat it gives me 12.5 in city and 15 on highway.
The service is not very best as you may not get the spares easliy. The paint gave me some problems as it tends to get fade thats the major problem I had till now.
The milage dont gets low even if u diveon AC yes but you can feel the diffrence in the power. feature wise I will say it has all the features of a good mid size car. all 4 power windos, power stering etc. The leg room is also decent and so is the luggage space. car drives silently and I have taken it upto 140 KMS but u need to push for that it easly gose till 120
