Now its good to see you ppl worried about ur carrier and are in a hunt of getting into a good college. Now when it comes to PES, Mandya and being the Alumini of the college let me drop u some points:
1>The infrastructure of this college is awsome, not a single match in bangalore.
2>The Course of content is of VTU one of the most renound universities in india.
3> The Lecturers are not that good when it comes to teaching a subject, but yes some are real champ.
4>The Hostel for senior guys is very good with all facilities, but for the 1st year students the facilities are good but the rooms are not that eye catching.
5>Don't ask me for the food they serve you here it's not at all good(same allover karnataka)..no college is good when it comes to the quality of food.
6>In every college so in mandya ur impression really counts.. if its good it's gonna help u a lot and if not then..........
7>When it comes to ragging I would say u will have to prepared because it really depends on the batch that will be ur immediate senior(2nd year)..localites do not worry at all no ragging for u ppl
8>Now the Big Question "PLACEMENTS" in mandya..So don't worry a minimum of 20-25 companies visit our campus every year + if you have a handsome aggregate u will get a call from other colleges to attend the campus interviews. (For our batch 2003-2007 43 companies visited our campus)
9>If u have at least 60% as aggregate and a good communication skill no body can stop u from getting placed but u will be limited to the college placements itself no out calls...for that to happen try to learn with all ur fundamentals clear..i would say study for concepts and marks will automatically flow.. :-)
10>Last but not the least don't expect the lecturer to teach u.. Rather u will have to give ur heart and soul if u want good aggragate it applies to all the colleges in india except that of the IIT's and the NIT's...Act like a professional, Be a professional, Have faith in u and the road to success will come closer everyday...
