This is one of the best British English Dictionary available in India. However, the words have been given with American pronunciation also. First of all, we should learn the pronunciation of the vowel and the consonants which have been given in the last page of the book(Earlier, it was just back of the front page). Try to learn those and pronounce the words in the same fashion.
We would never get the same accent as a British but, we would know the correct pronunciation. Furthermore, the meaning of the words, synonyms, the use in sentence, everything is given, which is very useful to all. Do have for all houses. First I bought when I was in 1st year Engineering. Later, I have gifted to minimum 10 people. Do have this book.
