My favourite Sidney Sheldon Book is called THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT. It was published by Warners Books and it has 432 Pages.

THE PLOT:

The Book begins in a Courtroom where Nicolas Chotas is defending Noelle and Larry are on Trial for killing his Wife.

Then the Book goes back to the time when Noelle Page was born in Paris, France. She was raised by both of her Parents.

She is a teenager now and is beautiful and intelligent. Many People are in love with her.

When she turns sixteen her sells her to a fat Man. He makes her take a boring job. Her Boss is a lecherous Shop Keeper and much older Man. He takes Noelle on a vacation and forces her to have sex with him.

Noelle feels her Father has betrayed her. She decides that to use her both her brains and her beauty to her advantage. She leaves the Hotel and the old Man.

She doesn't know what to do so she begins to look for someone to help her.

She meets a handsome Man, (Larry Douglas). He does help her and quite soon she falls in love with him. They spend the next Week in a Hotel together.

At the end of the Week Larry tells Noelle he has to go back to work for a Week, (he is a Pilot in the Navy).

Before he leaves her he promises her that he will come back as soon as he can. Just before he leaves he tells her that he wants to marry her.

Noelle is very excited and buys an expensive Wedding Dress. She can hardly wait for Larry to return. The day before he's suppose to come back she finds out she is pregnant.

Of course you must have guessed by now that Larry never comes back! She uses a coat hanger and preforms an abortion on herself!

At first she is worried about him and begins to wonder why he lied to her.

She becomes very angry and decides she will get revenge for what Larry did to her.

Noelle vows that one Day she will destroy Larry Douglas.

She does get married to a great looking Man. She moves to the USA where she becomes a famous Movie Star.

Constantin Demeris is a Greek multi-billionaire. He is trying to control everyone especially Niole.

How will this all end? I'll never tell because I never tell the end of a story.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS:

This is an amazing mystery book and one you won't be able to put down.

It was be old but like good Wines Books may become better as they age.
