The other side of midnight is a novel you will never forget...it is not the best mystery ever...not the most dramatic story ever but it will strike a chord.
The story that revolves around four principle characters - Noelle Page, Catherine Alaxender, Lawrence Douglas and Constantin Demiris is a story of passion, betrayal, vengeance, love, and I guess all the emotions known to man....but that is typical sydney isn't it? So, what is so different that makes reading this book an experience?
The answer to that question is that you cannot hate any character in this book. There is no black no white only grey. You cannot hate Noelle cause whatever she does is for love, you cannot hate Larry(Lawrence) because his only problem is that he has a weakness for women, you cannot even think of hating Catherine and Demiris is a greek tycoon who never forgives or forgets, so again, his actions are understandable.
All in all it is a great book but if this is your first Sheldon and you have only read Nancy Drews and Hardy boys before, well then fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a shock coz our friend sheldon has described a lot of things in this book.....but cmon it is justified because it reveals a lot about Noelle.....ppl it is a magnificent book and it is a pleasant change to see no contract killers in a Sheldon book
