I have stopped buying things which are in orange colour. Such is the frustration this company has created for every customer through the offers they only promised. I paid 37000 rupees on 4th of May 2008 and still waiting for my furnitures to be delivered.
First they asked me to select a fabric after 30 days of placing the order though I gave my options on the first day itself. Then they make frequent calls which are the last set of calls saying your goods will be delivered on X date, Y Date, Z date and again A date, B Date etc..
When you call up their call centre they are trained to lie and they do their job in the best way to woo you and you get the feeling that your calling bell rings. Worst of all, you get all the items you have ordered in the wrong colours, shapes, fabric etc. Discounts are good only if offered by companies who are in the market for long. Please dont get wooed away by such offers given by small companies.
I learnt it with a cost and dont want anyone to learn it this way..
I have been told by my friends and other people that they used all the money paid to them for furnitures to buy the plots where they launched Orange Properties land with free gifts like car etc. I am not sure how many people are cheated in that front.. And now they are using the investments people made in the properties in holiday business.
What suprises me is companies like Singapore Airlines are partnering with these companies and media like Times Of India are giving advertisements though they know there are lot of incidents like this by this company..
Play safe and dont have any relationship with this company.
