THE BABY ISSUE

After a lot of discussions and research I got my opel corsa one year back.

Lots of oscillations of thoughts and choices prevailed while deciding the car, especially the ford ikon flair and the fiat palio.

The ford ikon flair   provided a bigger car for a bigger man like me ( I am a six footer ) . One thing that separated my car and the ford was pure class , in every aspect (I promise!!)

Be it the acceralation , be it the interiors (of course ford provided the worst possible interiors!! Only they could provide it),safety features etc.. etc... Although we knew these we wanted to settle for a ford ikon flair, simple because its big.

But god saved us… somewhere down the heaven the ford people told us that they cannot provide a free audio cd player, they were reluctant to give us even a test ride ( they were generous in giving us a test ride for 300m , GREAT WORK!!!)

Ford denied themselves a customer(yours truly), we changed our attitude and settled for a corsa.


NOW ITS MY BABY    

MY baby works only for 5-6 hours per week. She gives a mileage of 10-11 per litre

She travels as fast as 150 km/hr with ac (I tried it out in gst, one of the best highways in India).

The safety feature are good.

The aspects in which she has to improve are
1.     The head lamps which could have been more bright
2.     Sluggish pickup with ac
3.     The blatant sound of the ac

The corsa has got good boot space. Leg room is pretty good at the back but not the best of its class., but I feel the driver seat and the front seat has got loads of space, even its better than Toyota qualis

The only thing I would rather suggest people is that “go for corsa, but never a black one”

U have to clean and clean it, its gets hot pretty quickly inside (that too in Chennai)

If u desperately want a black one, Teflon coating should be done .
