Very bad service in Hyderabad


The worst Service attitude ever. I had so much faith in ONIDA brand sand been using it since our childhood be it TV, washing machine etc. But now that trust and brand respect is gone forever on toss. My ONIDA microwave service request No.* is pending for over 20 days now. The service person came in the beginning didn't even have a screw driver to open the MW with a stupid reason that there is only one screw driver in service center. You can gauge the kind of infra and professionalism they are maintaining for the service. When I gave my screw driver he opened the MW and immediately declared that circuit board is blown. When I asked how did you diagnose and concluded this without even touching the fuse or checking the power cable or testing with a current tester. He was clueless and said I will come tomorrow with equipments. After 3-4 days and multiple follow ups(at least 20 calls) another person came and diagnosed the same problem stating a part to be replaced. Did Not repair or anything but was shamelessly happy to charge us the visiting fee. In face before coming itslef when he called he said no matter what we have to give visint charges. He was more bother about his fee then the service or microwave. Never asked what model, what proble in MW etc. Now this is interesting- The visiting charges are just 150/- but he took 450/- from my father who was at home that time and unaware of the actual charges. This is cheating and taking advantage of peopel who are not aware. Later when I called this person he said it will be adjusted when the from final bill. This was almost 18 days ago, since then I have been following up at least 50 times and most of the time they are tossing the call to one or the other guy, sometimes that part is not available, sometime they even cut the call abruptly pretending they cant understand(Hindi/english). Talked to Mr. Shiva(seemingly the service center head), Mr. Murali, but no realistic response and same template dialog. Now a new center manager Mr. Pandu Ranga Rao, been speaking to him for last 5-6 days, he sounds promising but without any result. Today again he said there is holiday for 2 days, part has not come, blah blah, part will come monday the person will come tuesday. While 3 days back he said part is there and person will come tomorrow(which was day before yesterday).


90% OF THE TIME THE SERVICE CENTER PHONE IS NOT PICKED UP OR ENGAGED. I EVEN CALLED THE MUMBAI NUMBER(02228200435


) JUST NOW at 11:00 AM FRIDAY and NO ONE PICKED UP. WHAT KIND OF PROFESSIONALISM IS THIS. ARE YOU RUNNING A COMPANY OR A JOKE? NO NUMBER TO REGISTER GRIEVANCE. VERY LAME AND LETHARGIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Customer has to figure out his own fate if god know any of the Onida product require a repair. Microwave is something which is lifeline of the house, you can imagine how difficult it is to manage without having any clue on when will it get repaired. This has been the worst service experience I have had and its a limbo situation where I now feel like throwing the Microwave and get anything other than Onida.
