We purchased Onida Black beauty Microwave oven in 2011 and have been using sparingly. All of a sudden it stopped working, though all the display would appear the oven would not start on pressing the button. Called the service Center an the technician saw and did some checkup and repair but he could not make it work. He went away and reported on phone that the circuit board is faulty and we need to change the same and the cost is around Rs. 3000/- We immediately said Ok for the same, then he said it is not available as the microwave is out dated model. So the microwave which I spent Rs. 12, 000/- is sitting in my Kitchen with out use and occupying space. There is no resale value and will go only as scrap value of Rs. 100/- aprox.
Can any one let me know How to sue this company or register a case in consumer forum. We stay in Mumbai.
