Well, I won’t call it a novel great novel. No. It is not. But it’s a good story. It is Chetan Bhagat’s second novel after ’Five Point Someone’. His first novel was based on IIT
culture. This second one is based on a call center setup.

The story revolves around some call center employees, the incidents of their lives, how they fight with it, and how they get through it. There is a bad boss, who takes all credit.  The narrator is the hero of this movie, I mean novel. You know what, when you begin with this book, it kind of fails to bind you. Reason being, you find it difficult to relate  to many characters that are there in the first couple of chapters. You find it difficult to understand what was happening there and where the author is planning to take you.  Once you reach couple of chapters, the story begins to take shape. You start understanding the concept and the story behind.

I just said ’movie’, because it gives you an impression that Chetan had it smewhere in his mind while writing this book that there will be a film about it. And thre is, ’Hello’, which is based on this.  I heard this film is really, really bad. Anyways, we are more concerned about this book right now.

So, if you have some time to kill, and not willing to waste it on watching useless serials, read this book. Honestly, it gives a good picture of a call center and the activities within. Chetan did do some good research on this. Nice job, Chetan.

I won’t tell you the story, because it will kill the motivation to read this book. Do read it to enjoy and to pass some time. But don’t take it seriously and don’t try to find logic at some places. It’s a novel, take it lightly.

In reality, God never calls anyone. :)

Thanks!
