After an amazing trip I was expecting a relaxed return. My misfortune was choosing Oman Air.


My flight was from Dubai- Bangalore with layover of 4 hours at muscat.


I decided not to leave airport for 4 hours.


I believe taking care of transfer responsibilities was airlines task however, we were the first few people to check in the second and didn't get window seats worst we all 5-6 people got emergency exits.(It included a 4 year old kid of a co-passenger). which indeed is against airport law.


My connecting flight was delayed by 2 hours. that means total of 6 hours layover and airline didn't offer a cup of water to their in-transit passengers.( In transit was airlines offering and not our personal choice)


That's not all I would say ground staff at Dubai airport was great but in flight support and staff at Oman airport is


ridiculous in fact rude.


A co-passenger traveled his to journey with same airlines and lost luggage. A part of it was received by them post 3 days and remaining on the day of departure.( perfect spoiler for a holiday).


Ahhhh A major one a boarding pass said seat 20 C which actually doesn't exist in Boeing 737( at least it wasn't there in Oman airways flight).


In first flight we had TV but no headset and in the second they gave us headset without TV.


Chilling AC in in-transit vehicle.


they don't bother to ask you if you want veg food or non-veg they just serve non-veg and replace only if you ask them.


7 AM they have only aerated cold drinks to serve no tea and coffee or hot beverage however sugar and milk( liquid dairy whitener) was provided with breakfast but no hot water/tea/coffee was served.


All in all the moment I left Dubai security check the crew was hopeless and non supportive.


I strictly recommend it as last option if it's an urgent travel.


Check-in counter: Good in Dubai where as worst in parent country.


Flight Attendants: self service with guide maps is better


Seating space: Seats are comfortable but allotted seat may not exist in flight


Punctuality: NO, you 99% will miss a business deal(18-22 hours delay happens), No support at airport and you may lose your luggage. etc etc.


Only good thing is food tastes good compared to few other airlines.
