I booked a flight to Salalah. It was cancelled less than 24 hours before it was due (apparently this is a frequent occurrence when they don't have enough passengers). The only alternative was a 2:20am flight - nightmare scenario. I had to get some sleep before my 9:00am meeting.
Oman Air said they would pay for the hotel. then when I asked how I could claim, they refused to pay, making out that I had booked the hotel anyway, which is untrue. I could go on but nothing annoys me more than people braking their promise. I've been left having to pay the Euro 150 hotel bill.
Avoid this airline. Qatar Airways is probably the best bet.
