As Im a big fan of Mr. Sharukh Khan and Ive been watching all his movies since the release of his first movie (Deewana). Most
of SRKs movies are very good e.g. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil Se - which is my favourite movie -Mohabbatein, Asoka, Kal Ho Nah Ho, Chakde India - which was extremely good movie, and in addition Paheli was also good and very different in story line and worth watching, but I dont understand why recently SRK agreed to do some commercial, stupid and silly movies such as OSO and Don!! these two movies were weak in direction, OSO was long, 3hours and I got bored, I didnt like the way was directed, I didnt like the comedy in the 1st half, just the costume was pertect and they dressed exeactly like 70s, I lived in 70s and I was 18 years old then, I remember the fashion and the way we used to dressup, the hair style, makeup, etc. The costume was the best thing happened in OSO.
SRK deserves much better movies, good direction like Devdas, Saawariya for SLB, Saawariya was amazing and extraordinary movie. Its totally unfair to rate a movie or evaluate it by the box office income, evaluation should be based on many terms, direction, production, cinematography, story, music, etc. and the most important is "the director"
Many people like cheap products, but this doesnt mean that the product they like is good.. e.g. OSO, Kiya Cool Hai Hum, Maine Pyare Kuo Kiya, Hangama, Goalmaal, etc. these cheap comedy movies which satisfy millions of audiences in India, even Rang de Basanti which was a big hit and I was dissapointed while watching it. In addition, I was shocked when I heard that Umrao Jaan ( the remake for Ashiwariya Rai) was a flop!!! a movie which was extremely good, in every way?!! So, my question is as follows: Why very good movies are rated as average or poor cause it didnt win in the box office and some stupid and cheap movies are considered to be hit or super hit and which arent worth watching at all?!!
