after reading the reviews written by so many members of mouthshut,  i had to watch the movie you see( wanted to check out what is so bad about this movie)

First  i would like to make few things clear

1.  This is not a serious movie at all
2.  Farah khan movie,  is an entertainer,  NO LOGICS PLEASE
3.  All rational guys stay away from this movie,  else you will end up writing a review against this movie :)
4. What was wrong or funny abt the 70s movies,  is all answered in this movie :)


Om shanti Om,  is just an awesome collection of scenes which make a mockery of the cine industry that used to be and is presently called as BOLLYWOOD.

A person always covering his face,  even when posing for his passport,    A heroine who has loaded half a football on her head( hairstyle you see),  overaction is the order of the day,  with mom and son practicing the same in house,  south indian heroine being the top heroine in bollywood,  South indian actor trying to make a foray into bollywood.  this is the first part of the movie

Then comes the reincarnation drama,  a Superstar( shahruk calls himself a superstar) who comes late for the shoot,  dominates the script and overrides the director and declares pack-ups himself.  Then comes the reincarnated heroine,  return of the villian and a happy ending.

sounds a simple story and script,  but the best part and the part which cannot be written here, is the dialogues and the short and sweet dialogues between SRK and shreyas,  SRK and Kiron Kher etc.,  is the best.

SRK makes fun of himself,  really himself,  by mocking his acting style of his movies from 90s, claiming himself as a superstar of whom the producers cant do anything, as a superman( wearing the underwear over trousers),  and last but not least,  posing with his SIX PACK ABS( really stunning).

The above review may be confusing,  and so is the movie( well, in terms of story)

I would recommend this movie for all those serious guys,  who want to laugh their hearts out and for the entire family

overall a fantastic entertainer.
